The WA School of Mines Alumni Association expects to tip an estimated $100,000 into the local economy when it brings its annual ball to Kalgoorlie-Boulder in November.

Traditionally held in Perth, the event will see up to 400 former WA School of Mines students return to the famous Goldfields campus to celebrate 125 years since gold’s discovery in Kalgoorlie-Boulder.

It will be among the biggest mining functions to grace Kalgoorlie-Boulder this year, coming just three months after the Diggers and Dealers Mining Forum.
