Former WASMA Patrons Chairman Hon Peter Jones AM dies at 83
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our former Chairman for the WASMA Patrons group, Hon Peter Jones AM.
Peter was previously respective Ministers for Mines & Energy and Resources Development & Education, in the Sir Charles Court Governments. He was a retired farmer, held numerous appointments in the private sector and remained until his death very well connected and highly regarded in senior government levels.
Peter was a great believer in Mining Education and passionate about WASM. He will be sorely missed
