Mr Stuart Pether is a mining engineer with over 30 years experience in the mining industry, including roles in project development, technical studies, mine operations and corporate management.

Currently he is the Executive Director of Specialised Mineral Services, a bespoke consultancy and procurement business with expertise in the mineral sands and mining industry.

Previously Stuart was the CEO of Kimberley Mineral Sands, a 50/50 joint venture between Sheffield Resources Limited and YGH Australia Investment Pty Ltd (Yansteel) formed to fund, construct and operate the $484m Thunderbird Mineral Sands Project.

Stuart has previously held roles as COO at Sheffield Resources, CEO at Kula Gold, VP Project Development at Evolution Mining and COO at Catalpa Resources.

Stuart holds a Bachelor in Engineer (Mining Engineering) from the Western Australia School of Mines, is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and was previously the Vice President and committee member of the WASM Alumni.
