In June we held our first President’s Lunch for the year and were pleased to update our biggest supporters on what we have been up to over the past 6 months.
Our President, Darren Stralow also gave the audience an overview of our next three-year strategic plan. Something we are looking forward to sharing in the not too distant future.
We were pleased to welcome first-time Alumni sponsor, Fleet Space Technologies. It was wonderful to hear Chief Exploration Officer & Co founder, Matt Pearson speak on the innovative work being undertaken across the resources sector. We were so pleased that Matt made the trip from Adelaide to join us for lunch!
A key part of our lunch is to update industry on WA School of Mines (WASM) activities. Once again, we were welcomed Kalgoorlie Campus Director, Tanya Chambers who shared many fantastic images and stories of campus life at WASM. Our lunch concluded with a brief presentation from Warren Pearce, CEO, AMEC (Association of Mining and Exploration Companies) who highlighted the key advocacy work recently being undertaken by AMEC.
We are grateful to all our guests for taking time out of their busy schedules and join us for the lunch.
