MCGUSHIN (Peter Joseph): Graduated from the WA School of Mines in 1964 20.02.1926 – 09.10.2015 Passed away peacefully at home after a long illness. Peter’ s funeral will be held at Karrakatta 12.30pm Friday 16 October 2015 and later at the Blue Water Grill Applecross 2.30pm Originally from Dublin Ireland Departure Port Liverpool Arrival Year 1950 Fremantle Orphaned at age 6 Peter was brought up in convent and orphanage in Dublin. He became a telegram boy at 14. Peter then joined the Palestine Police 1945. Migrated December 1949 to work in gold mines in Kalgoorlie. He married a Boulder girl. Graduated from WASM as a Mining Engineer in 1964. Peter and Dianne had six children. He retired to Perth, 1991
