On the night, our very generous attendees donated over $3,000 to the WA School of Mines (WASM) Kalgoorlie Student Pantry. These funds will be used to purchase toiletries, food, and other essential supplies that students can access whenever needed.
Let’s not forget the purpose of the Quiz Night – it’s about coming together with your mates for a fun night out. For many, the cooler months can be a challenging time. Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a type of depression linked to changes in seasons, most commonly beginning in autumn and continuing through winter. Shorter days and reduced sunlight can affect the body’s internal clock, serotonin levels, and melatonin production, leading to low mood and fatigue.
We do hope over the cooler months you continue to catch-up with friends and colleagues. Both WASMA and CSMAA have a fantastic lineup of networking events planned over the coming months, and we look forward to seeing you at one of them soon.
