WASMA Executive Officer Johanna Gastevich made a brief but impactful visit to Kalgoorlie during WASM’s O-Week. She connected with new students, joined a trip to Northern Star Resources’ KCGM – Super Pit, and met with Tanya Chambers, Director of Curtin University’s Kalgoorlie Campus.
Gastevich also caught up with the WA School of Mines Alumni Kalgoorlie Committee to plan the year ahead over pizza and drinks. Plans for the first Kalgoorlie Sundowner of 2025 are underway, with details to be announced soon.
