Not even a torrential downpour could put a stop to a WASMA event! We recently held our final Kalgoorlie Sundowner for 2026.
A huge thank you to Murray Engineering for sponsoring the evening. It was great to see the team out in force and our attendees appreciated hearing Nathan Bradshaw speak about the JumboGuard Automatic Boom Isolation.
A special thank you to our Kalgoorlie Committee, who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make these events a success: Ron Ellis, Brianna Reid, Tim Campbell, Joseph Mead, Rebekah Smiles, Matt Jones, Vic Simpson and Josh Foster.
We would like to recognise Josh Foster, who attended his final official WASMA event as a Kalgoorlie Committee member. We wish you every success as you complete your final semester. You have been an outstanding WA School of Mines student representative on our Committee, and we look forward to welcoming you as part of our Alumni community.
While the 2026 Kalgoorlie Sundowners may have concluded, we look forward to delivering an outstanding program in 2027 (we are particularly excited as we are celebrating 125 years of WASM next year!)
